• School exhibits at the Middle and High School Choice Fair

    All principals | Deadlines: November 14 and 21, December 5 and 6, 2014

    The 2014 Middle and High School Choice Fair will be held on Saturday, December 6, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Convention Center. Schools that participate in this event should begin planning their booth exhibits now.

    Point of contact

    By Friday, November 14, please provide information on your school's point of contact for this event. 

    Exhibit booths

    Each exhibitor will receive one 8' x 10' booth with high back and side draping, a 6' draped table, two side chairs, and a one-line identification sign. See a sample display.

    Exhibit guidelines

    • Exhibitors may use any suitable table-top or backdrop displays they choose, but these must be provided at vendors' own expense.

    • Exhibitors should include a multimedia presentation.

    • Exhibitors must confine their display to their booth area and keep aisles and areas around the booth display clear of boxes and materials.

    • Exhibitors must prepare their exhibit space before the fair opens to the public and must remove their materials and displays from their booths quickly after the conclusion of the fair.

    • Please remember to arrive on time and to ensure your booth is staffed during the entire duration of the fair. At least two students should be at your booth during the fair to speak with families and students.

    • The Enrollment, Choice, and Transfers department will follow up with exhibitors that are no-shows during set-up on Friday, December 5. In the event of an emergency that affects an exhibitor’s ability to set up and provide staff, please contact Alisha Sparks at 678-438-4999.

    • Audiovisual equipment is permitted but must be confined to the exhibitor's booth. All audiovisual equipment must be used at a low volume.

    Optional services

    Wireless Internet access (Wi-Fi) and electrical power are available for a fee. If you choose to purchase Wi-Fi or electrical power services, orders must be placed directly with the vendors below no later than Friday, November 21.

    If you elect not to order electricity for your booth, please ensure that you bring multiple battery packs for the technology you will be using for your required multimedia presentation.

    School and vendor set-up

    Booths must be set up on Friday, December 5, between 1:30 and 5:00 p.m. Specific details will be sent closer to the event.
