    District Applications and Hardware Upgrades

    In continual effort to provide quality of service to the district's applications, hardware upgrades will be performed in both of the district’s data centers over the next few weeks. The upgrades that will be performed will increase speeds to internet, ERP and email. During these times, intermittent outages will be experienced with Cisco phones, email and internet. The maintenance will be performed during the following windows:

    • Saturday, September 20, 2014 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
    • Saturday, September 27, 2014 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

    Business Continuity Test

    In an effort to continuously improve the performance and reliability of our Business Continuity site and to stay in compliant with our internal audit, the Information Technology Department (ITD) will be conducting a redundancy test beginning Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 4:00 pm. During this test, we will be testing fail-over connectivity between HQ and DHH for the following:

    • Netbackup
    • VPN
    • ERP
    • eMail
    • Palo Alto
    • DHCP
    • Active Directory
    • Internet Access/WAN Connectivity
