    Dear Parents/Guardians,

I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into my classroom. My name is Mounir El Aloussi and I will be your child’s teacher this year. This is my third year working at Baltimore International Academy and approximately my fourteenth year of teaching Visual Art and Languages (French & Arabic). I am originally from Morocco, where I received my Teaching Diploma in 1993. Prior to teaching in the US, I taught 6th to 10th grades students in the same time I was animating multiple Art courses in different institutions as the Institut Français de Rabat. I also had extended experience working with children in summer camps. I love having fun with children, traveling, learning and speaking new languages using Art.

My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. One of my jobs as a teacher is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside with them to maximize it. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively and learning though play.

I am really looking forward to another fun–filled and educational year! I am looking forward to interacting with you and your child this upcoming school year. Attached to this page you will find a list of things your child will need in the classroom. If you need have any questions please feel free to contact me at school.

    Thank you for your consideration.
