• Report Cars and Retention

Report cards are given out at the end of each quarter. Parents are expected to attend the Parent/Teacher Conferences during which report cards are distributed. This is also an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss your child's progress, to address any concerns, and to share information about the student.

During the school year, parents/guardians will receive written and verbal information from the school concerning the academic performance of their child. The parent or guardian is encouraged to meet with school staff to discuss this information so that children can make the necessary progress. If sufficient progress is not made by April 1, the principal or teacher will notify parents or guardians of any student they are considering retaining in their current grade and who will not be promoted to the next grade.
