    8. What are the two ways to project views in Orthographic Projection?

    9. Which projection is preferred in the United States?

    ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    10. Why is it necessary to show several views of an object when drafting?

    ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Third Angle Orthographic Projection shows three basic views of an object in the following order top view at the top the front view below the top view and the right end view adjacent(beside of) the front view. To create the right end view you must project a 45 degree line from the highest point of the right side of the front view.

    The Rules of Blocking in

Measure each distance one time double check the measurement for accuracy and project the adjacent view.
