Who Runs the World? ....Girls! Girls! Girls!

On October 28th, the Vanguard Collegiate ladies joined together to explore and celebrate their femininity for the second annual Girls Night Out! The girls started the night with opening ceremonies that included popcorn and team-building. Students attended workshops such as Forget Me Not: Hygiene and Healthy Habits and Intro to Chess. The girls also participated in activities that included Basketball/Volleyball, Crafts, Jewelry Making and Face Painting. After a catered family-style dinner, the ladies engaged in dancing, sports and video-games. It was a wonderful community-strengthening experience for all involved. Many thanks to the community partners, staff members, and families who contributed their time, energy and financial support to this educational celebration!
