    The purpose of the Office of Compensation is to develop, implement and administer classification and wage and salary programs for Baltimore City Public Schools (City Schools) that are compliant with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, Board rules, union contract provisions, and human capital policies, procedures, and guidelines, and that support City Schools goals for internal equity, external competitiveness, and accurate pay for City Schools personnel.
