Helping You Tell Your School's Story

Every day at your school, there is information to share, news to announce, achievement to celebrate. And every day there are members of your school community—students, families, volunteers, partners, local media, staff colleagues and others—eager to hear from you.

Here you'll find tools to make your communications job easier, and your communications more effective.

    • In For Your School, you'll find tips for making the most of your school website, working with local media and sharing the story of your school with your community and with prospective students and families.

    • District Resources describes how you can use tools available to all schools—like Parent Link, Great Kids Up Close and Education Channel 77—and offers district guidelines on communicating in a crisis.

    • The Template Library gives you ready-made designs for flyers, presentations and other documents.

    • For quick reference on questions of style and usage, check out the Style Tools.

Please share your ideas for other resources to include with the district's communications team (410-545-7296). We welcome your feedback and suggestions!
