Baltimore IT (BIT) Academy is a new charter/ transformation school in Baltimore City with an academic program focusing on Math and Information Technologies. BIT Academy will open in the Fall of 2010 by enrolling 240 students in 6th and 7th grades. BIT Academy is planned to serve grades 6 through 12 as a college and career prep transformation school at the Chinquapin Middle School facility.
