Dear Pimlico Community,
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! I am honored to serve as the new Principal at Pimlico Elementary/Middle School for the 2016-2017 school year. I will be a member of the administrative team, working in collaboration with Assistant Principal, Michael Johnson. As a former student and teacher in the Baltimore City Public School System, with over 15 years of experience, it gives me great pleasure to continue the work of ensuring that all students achieve at the highest academic level possible. I am excited to bring my skills of an educational leader to the Pimlico community, a community where I grew up. I look forward to working with all students, families, community partners and teachers.
In addition to collaborating with all stakeholders, I will work diligently to uphold a positive school culture and to continue the mission of working towards achieving academic success. We will do this by: setting high academic standards and providing appropriate support systems together. It is my goal to build honest and healthy relationships and to help foster a safe and nurturing learning environment for every student. By engaging all stakeholders, we will continue to embrace new challenges by Loving Our School!
I am excited about learning and working with each and every one of you this school year. Moving forward, I am committed to student success and academic excellence. I am confident that all students will be college or career ready and I anticipate the most successful school year ever.
Thanking you in advance for your commitment to this year’s learning. I look forward to the great gains and contributions that we will share together.
