Message From The Principal

Dear Students, Parents & Staff:

Welcome to Trimester 2 at Excel Academy!
We’ve successfully gone through some growing pains, and we’re committed to staying strong and focused as we move through the holiday season and into the next few months of school.

We’re continuing our commitment to Excel Academy as having a positive culture that is conducive to learning, and a school community that is built on trust and hard work. To that end, we’re exploring even more options that will make Excel a true alternative school, dedicated to making our students college- and career-ready, and toward their being able to solve problems on the local, national and international scale.
In order to achieve this, we must provide our students with some essential skills and tools that will be needed in order to operate in today’s society and be competitive in the global economy.

1.     Promote continuous learning
2.     Problem solving
3.     Conflict resolution
4.     Technology literate
5.     Listening
6.     Team building

I look forward to continuing to meet with you and to work with you. Please feel free to contact me at (410) 396-1290. Thanks again for giving Excel Academy the opportunity to educate your child. Have a peaceful and prosperous holiday season, and a Happy New Year.

Sincerely,

Tammatha L. Woodhouse, M.Ed.
