Welcome to the "Wonderful" Walter P. Carter Elementary/Middle School #134, where we "Nurture Leadership and Excellence in Every Student". 

 

Walter P. Carter is a learning community of students, parents, and educators committed to working together to accomplish one goal.  That goal is ensuring that our students are prepared academically for high school and beyond.  Each stakeholder is encouraged to embody the "Wonderful" Walter P. Carter's mission of high academic achievement, cooperation, and determination. 

 

It is important for parents and students to know that the state is consistently raising the bar.  Our focus this year is on academic rigor, providing the proper and meaningful interventions, and student engagement.  It is always important that we work to nurture the leadership talents in all of our students.  Thank you for allowing me to serve you as principal of the "Wonderful" Walter P.
