Office of Employee and Labor Relations



Mission Statement:

The Office of Employee and Labor Relations serves to assure the appropriate administration of the policies and procedures of the BCPSS and the negotiated bargaining agreements with the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners. In addition, this office serves to facilitate and support the mission and goals of the Baltimore City Public School System through interaction with its various subdivisions, partners, and employees.

Overview of Department:

The Office of Employee and Labor Relations will assist the CEO and the HRO in resolving all employment concerns. The team will facilitate in all Negotiated Agreement processes, process grievances, handle and resolve ADA issues, EEOC, Unemployment Insurance, as well as Workers' Compensation issues.
