Alternative Options Program
The Baltimore City Public School System (BCPSS) developed the Alternative Options Program to provide a continuum of service options for students who are over aged, under credited and not on track to graduate within four years.
The Alternative Options Program collaborates with community agencies and organizations who partner with the BCPSS to provide mentoring, advocacy, job training and job internships.
The Alternative Options Program provides service options that will support students in course acceleration, behavioral management and improved attendance, so that, they can return to their high school of choice and or a city wide high school, and or graduate with a high school diploma from the Alternative Options Program site.
