Shop-With-A-Cop- Each year the Baltimore City School Police send deserving students to Wal-Mart to shop for the Christmas Holiday. Each student receives $100.00 to spend on themselves or to purchase Christmas gifts for their family. Officers pick up and transport these students to Wal-Mart at Glen Burnie and then to an annual party where each student visits Santa and receives additional gifts. Yearly a large group of sponsors donate money to support the students of the Baltimore City Public School System. During the 2006-2007 school year our department raised $3200.00 sending 32 students to shop.
