Kindergarten
The kindergarten program immerses children in a print-rich environment. The reading/language arts program focuses on the development of the child's alphabet knowledge, listening, speaking, and pre-writing skills. Units in science, mathematics, health, and social studies are taught through exploration and hands-on learning activities. Children also have opportunities to select their own learning activities and plan to participate in music, art, and physical education.

- Talk with your child each day.
- Discuss a variety of topics including current events, school activities, etc.
- Encourage your child to count objects (to 20) around the home. Ask, "How many?", "Which is bigger?", "How many do we need?".
