Community Engagement

A community meeting

The Baltimore City Public School System’s Office of Parent
Involvement and School, Family, Community Connections
continues its progress in promoting ongoing community engagement activities in our schools. Currently outside agencies and individuals are participating in helping our schools achieve greater success. Communities are encouraged to become increasingly more involved and committed to the shared responsibility of improving our schools.

You can make the difference in the lives of students by spending quality time helping them grow into successful adults. You can serve as tutors and mentors but there are other community engagement opportunities that you may wish to pursue.  For example, businesses and community organizations can offer services and support to the school to benefit student achievement programs, participation in school assemblies, school beautification projects, and other student enrichment activities.

Schools welcome community agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals to provide valued input as we collectively strive to foster greater achievement for children.

We welcome and appreciate your involvement.

Find your neighborhood schools on the BCPSS website. Click on school information for addresses, telephone numbers, and general information about the school.
