2001 Annual Report

    These are good days for the Baltimore City Public School System.
    Test scores confirm and reconfirm our momentum, but there are other
    important measures, too — increasing numbers of parent-teacher
    organizations, parent volunteers, business partnerships, awards won,
    hands raised, and grants received.

    Maryland School Performance Program as its cornerstone of accountability. A     key component of this program is the Maryland School Performance
    Assessment Program (MSPAP), which has been administered to students in     grades three, five, and eight since 1993.
