We hope you enjoyed your summer and you are ready for a great start to the 2011-2012 school year. Here at Commodore we have had a lively summer school program and have stayed busy and excited preparing for this school year.
We are happy to share that after one year of our new partnership with Living Classrooms Foundation, our students have met their achievement goals and raised our scores on the MSA! This is cause to celebrate, and the progress is a tribute to the support from our staff, students, families and school community.
For the 2011-2012 school year Living Classrooms will again support Commodore with some exciting new programs. We are introducing Baltimore Urban Gardening (BUGS), an award winning after-school program serving students from 2nd-5th grades. Students will also continue to participate in activites that include debate, science and sports.
