Mission Statement:

The mission of the Baltimore City Public Schools JROTC program is to provide quality leadership education that develop in students an understanding of leadership skills, strong moral character and self discipline.

What We Do:

The JROTC program will develop skills, abilities and attitudes dedicated to a program of excellence that meet both the needs of students and the demands of society.  The JROTC provides students with a variety of intellectual, physical, and social experiences which encourages them to become leaders and critical thinkers.  The JROTC is committed to developing values and skills that will prepare students to become life long learners as well as prepare them to become productive members of society. Additionally, the program is committed to teaching students effective decision making skills, and preparation to participate successfully in a democratic society.  JROTC is dedicated to creating leaders who will serve their nation as productive citizens.  JROTC is not military training or a recruiting organization, it is preparation for life.
